Design Notes
Cyanobacteria have endogenous toxin-antitoxin systems. Taking that into consideration we tried to find a system that did not already exist in our strain of cyanobacterium.

The promoter used for this part originates from Anabaena (Nostoc) sp. PCC 7120. The VapC15 gene originates from Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 and the rrnB T2 Terminator originates from E.coli.
